Technical audio explanation available below:
Torlon® 5030 represents the pinnacle of engineering-grade materials, and I chose it to craft the world's first plectrums from this high-performance thermoplastic. As the most robust grade of PAI (polyamide-imide) available, Torlon® 5030 is reinforced with glass fibres, enhancing its natural strength, stiffness and wear resistance.
This combination makes it exceptionally resilient against chemicals and physical stress, setting a new standard in bearing-grade engineering plastics. While it commands a premium price, its effectiveness in the most demanding applications justifies the investment. In terms of abrasion resistance, nothing surpasses it.
Crafted with meticulous attention, each plectrum takes nearly two hours to create and reflects my original 2011 invention of using Torlon® for plectrum making. This innovative material makes these plectrums exceptionally durable and long-lasting, while also enhancing tactile feel and acoustic response for precise and dynamic playing.
As the inventor behind this application, I take pride in presenting a product that reflects creativity, dedication and a constant pursuit of excellence in music performance.
Unlock the power of thicker handcrafted plectrums, meticulously created by me.
🎸 Struggling with hand discomfort during extended playing sessions?
🎸 Looking for greater precision and speed in your guitar playing?
🎸 Curious about the biomechanical logic behind these plectrums?
By using thicker plectrums, you can improve playing efficiency and strength while reducing effort. This approach minimises hand movement and increases hand strength, resulting in less cramping and tension.
This feature can be particularly beneficial for guitarists experiencing muscular issues such as osteoarthritis or tendinitis. However, all players can benefit from this biomechanical effect, improving precision, strength and speed.
Key Benefits
✔ Enhanced hand strength: reduced fatigue and discomfort.
✔ Effortless playing: less strain, more endurance.
